Condolences:
The outpouring of shock and grief following the tragic death of Dr Martin Lawlor has been keenly felt within the club by those who had the privilege of getting to know him and his sister Susan when we held an information night last year on mental health in sport.

Dr Martin was a co founder of State of Mind Ireland and one of the foremost advocates of mental health awareness in Ireland – he was a brilliant, caring compassionate man who firmly believed that education and intervention were key tools in destigmatising the issues around mental health in Ireland.

To his wife Helen and family, his parents Jerry & Noreen and to Susan, John & Diarmuid we extend our heartfelt sympathies at this time – suaimhneas síoraí na bhflaitheas dó.
