LGFA Club Together
It may be the quiet season on the field but off of it we are always looking at ways of improving our club. With this in mind we applied for a new initiative being run by the LGFA.

We were delighted to be chosen as one of 10 clubs in Ireland to pilot the programme. It will involve improving structures, volunteer recruitment and games development to name a few.

Five volunteers travelled to Croke Park on Sunday last for the first of many sessions. They found it to be a very beneficial day and the whole club will probably benefit from ideas brought back. Thanks to them for taking the time out to take part.

Club AGM
The Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday the 3rd of December at 7.30pm in the Bistro at the club. Anyone interested in going forward for positions at committee level must have nominations in by midnight on the 28th of November. Any motions must be in by the 21st of November. These can be left in sealed envelopes in club bar.

Juvenile AGM
The Juvenile AGM will take place in the club on Friday the 25th at 8pm. All those with children involved in the club or those interested in becoming involved are welcome to attend.

Good Luck
Best wishes to Conor O’Sullivan, Stephen Nix, Jerome Daly, Sam McCarthy and Jack Savage who are all involved with the CBS The Green side who are due to play in a semi final on Friday in Fitzgerald Stadium.

Austin Stack Park Stewards
As Tralee clubs we should all be very proud of the new development at Austin Stack Park. However in order to hold games there in safety there will have to be proper stewarding provided for all games. Tralee clubs need to get behind this so we would appreciate it if you could give some of your time to help out. The same people will not be need for every game. Kerry GAA will provide full training. Contact Breda Dyland for information.

Christmas Fair
We will be holding a Christmas Fair at the club on the 11th of December. There will be a bake sale, crafts, gifts, raffles, lots for the kids and much more on the day. We need volunteers to bake, donate crafts etc and volunteer on the day. Please contact Shirley Doody, Marie Nix or Kathy McCarthy for information. We hope you support this as we are supporting a very worthy local charity with the day.

Date for your diaries
The date has been fixed for the 2017 Kerins O’Rahillys annual 10K run. It will take place on Sunday the 29th of January at 11am. Details of how to register will be up on our Facebook page in the next week.

Support Rock Street Post Office
Rock Street Post Office have asked us to support them. But this support will also benefit the club. We have been set a challenge with other clubs. The Club whose supporters make the most transactions in the post office between now and December will win the valuable right to be the only club to sell their Club Lotto Tickets in the Rock Street Post Office.

So with every transaction from buying a stamp to getting a passport right up to sending off the all-important cards at Christmas let Martin and his friendly staff know that you are a Kerins O’Rahillys supporter and lets see out lotto be the one selling in The Rock in the new year. Support your local Post Office and Support your Club.
