10k Road Race: Our third annual 10k will take place on Sunday 29th Jan which will be run in memory of our late chairman Pat Healy who passed away in April 2007.

The chipped timed run will begin at 11.00 am from the club house with the route travelling along up Ballyvelly, out to the Kerries, onto Clogherbrien Cross towards Knockanish and the Spa and ending back in the club. As well as an individual event, this year will see the run incorporate a team event- teams of 4, best 3 to count with categories catering for the over 40s, 50s & 60s for both male and female runners.

Registration can be done on line with Primoevents,  or on Sat 28th Jan from 2pm-8pm in the club house and also on the morning of the run from 9 am – 10.30am. Cost is €20 but places are filling up fast, so register now if you intend to participate.

Senior Football: Our senior management team has been finalised for the year with both Morgan Nix & Micheal Quirke continuing in their roles as joint bainisteoiri; Maurice Horan and John O’Dwyer will act as selectors with Pat Flavin continuing in his role as logistics.

Our season will kick off with the Coiste Trá Lí Town League on 5th February  when we are away to Na Gael in Killeen followed by a home game against Stacks on the 12th February  with fixtures to come against John Mitchels and Ballymac each of the following Sundays – all games throw in at 12.30pm.

Keep an eye on Facebook for updates.  County League fixtures have been released and we open our campaign with an away game in Dingle on Sunday March 19th with a home game against Milltown/Castlemaine on Sunday 26th March.

Congratulations to Jack Savage who made his Senior Inter County debut on Sunday for Kerry vs Cork in the McGrath Cup in Mallow.

Jack featured alongside fellow Strand Road man Barry John Keane  in a 1-13 to 1-09 win where he kicked  5 points from play plus one from a free  in a fine display with Barry John adding 2 – well done to both.

Minors: Declan Quill has assembled his minor management team with Paul Ryan, Sean Walsh and Rob Lacey assisting for the year; their season will commence on Jan 28th with Tralee Town league, with county minor league  due to begin on February 18th.

Bord na nOg: All mentors have been finalised for the coming year following much work over the past few weeks by the committee under the hard working Adrian Doody; the big change from former years is that the U-6S to U-10s will now be training on a Sunday morning instead of Saturdays; an official launch day will take place on Sunday 12th Feb in the club from 2-5pm with registration on the 25th Feb from 10.00-1.00 pm.

Club Lotto: The lotto currently stands at €5800 with draws weekly on Monday nights in Charlies Bar; anybody matching 4 numbers will win or share the jackpot with match 3 winners each winning €25. Tickets €2 each can be purchased from club members or played on line at www.korgaa.com

All funds collected are reinvested in the running of the club so your support is greatly appreciated.

Fund raising: Fund raising is a hugely important part of our activities and with this in mind please keep Sat 25th March free as the clubs major fund raiser for 2017 will take place on this date- more details later.
