Plans are being made for a day out for the end of year for the various age groups. More details to follow once arranged, always has been very enjoyable over the years.

With medals to be presented from 2021 and 2022 it has been decided by our ladies committee that this will be done for all age groups on the one night. It will be lovely to have a get together where we all can meet up and chat once again. Looking forward to seeing everyone, date TBC.

U12 GIRLS
The team and management extend their deepest sympathies to Chloe and all of the Lacey family on the passing of her Nana Marie. Marie has supported our club for many a year with her sons and grandchildren playing football and her sons Eddie and Rob volunteering their time . Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílís.

U14 GIRLS
Our U14s finished up for the year last Sunday. Sincere thanks to every family for your help and support throughout the year. Many thanks also to their coaches Mark, Rory, Gary and Louise who spoiled the girls during the year.

A special mention for Darren Horan of Stoves4U who sponsored a gorgeous set of O’ Neill’s jerseys for the girls in 2022… very chic in 2022!

Also a huge thank you to Tax Assist who looked after the team throughout the year with beautiful boot bags which could also be used as a make up bag , donating money toward essential football equipment and providing treats etc. weekly.

And finally to everyone who made a donation for the Féile fundraiser a big thank you… with this much essential equipment was purchased.
Great improvements by this team in 2022 and good times ahead for them. Well done girls!

U14 TOWN LEAGUE
Kerins O’ Rahilly 2-08
John Mitchels 1-03
A miserable morning last Sunday as we hosted John Mitchels in the Town League shield captained by Aoibheann McCarthy.
Against a gallant Mitchels outfit, who battled to the very end , our ladies recorded a comprehensive win and played some fantastic football… a great team performance with every player contributing to the win from number 1 to 20 on last Sunday’s panel.

NORTH KERRY LEAGUE
Our U14s were also victorious in their final against Ballyduff in the North Kerry , division 3 final captained by Fiadh McCarthy. Fiadh and her team mates were presented with the cup last Wednesday. Thanks to Terry’s Butchers for sponsoring this competition . After a few photos the girls enjoyed food and dessert in The Klub.

Juvenile Notes
As our Academy nears the end of this year,  it was great to see all age groups in huge attendance over the weekend. The boys and girls along with their coaches have shown great dedication throughout the year and this just shows how much they all enjoy themselves in our Academy.

U5 Boys – This group enjoyed a great training session with their coaches practicing their kicking skills and hand passing. They enjoyed a short game at the end where they showed great team work and some lovely scores.

U6 Girls – These girls always show up with huge enthusiasm and always with a smile on their face. They enjoyed fun games while incorporating the key skills of football into them. Their coaches as always showed the girls the skills in great detail ensuring they understood what to do and why. Their coaches are delighted with the progress they have made.

U7 Boys – Our U7 boys had a very enjoyable trip to the town park for the Junior Parkrun on Sunday.   We had a great turnout and it was fantastic to see all the lads having so much fun together in their club colours while getting out in the fresh air exercising.   Well done to all.

.

U8 and U10 Girls – Last Sunday these two groups trained together as alot of our U8s will be moving up to U10 next year. They enjoyed a very welcomed warm up on a cold Sunday morning followed by drills set out by their Cosches concentrating on their kicking skills and accuracy in kicking the ball. They played a short 10 minute a side game at the end and every girl showed great enthusiasm, skills and teamwork throughout. Their coaches are very proud on how much these girls have developed their skills and bonded as a team.

U9 Boys –  Our U9 Boys had a great day out as they travelled to their Blitz in Mallow on Saturday morning. Each team played three games each showing great skills and team work throughout. They were treated to McDonalds afterwards and had great fun on the bus drive up and down. Well done to all.

.

U11 Boys – This group showed up in great numbers again on Sunday as they do every week. They practiced their skills with different drills their coaches had set out and finished with a game at the end where each boy showed great skills and teamwork throughout. Well done to all.

We look forward to seeing everyone next Sunday morning for their last training session, full attendance in all age age groups is required if possible please. Also can everyone please ensure they check their ClubZap for details in relation to important information regarding your child’s group.
