Strand Road JUVENILES

Juvenile AGM –  The Annual General Meeting of the Kerins O’Rahillys Juvenile Club will take place on November 13th at 8pm in the Club Bistro. All welcome.

U6/8/10 Girls and Boys  – Saturday last was the final outdoor session for this age group. Large numbers took part in their final training sessions and all were presented with medals afterwards.

There will be a break of a couple of weeks and then the indoor winter training program will start. All details will be in the notes and posted on Facebook and parents will be notified by text.

U12/14s – Training continues on Wednesday evenings at 5.45 for this age group in CBS The Green school hall.

U15s – Kerins O’Rahillys played Na Gaeil in the Town League on Sunday the 26th in Strand Road. The score was Kerins O’Rahillys 2-06 Na Gaeil 6-04.

U16s – Training for this age group continues indoors at CBS The Green school hall on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Entry at new entrance on Dan Spring Rd at traffic lights.

Senior AGM

The Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 22nd of November at 7.30pm in the Bistro at the club.

Anyone interested in going forward for positions at committee level must have nominations in by midnight on the 16th of November. Any motions must be in by the 9th of November. These can be left in sealed envelopes in club bar.

Golf Outing

The Kerins O’Rahillys Christmas party/golf outing will take place on Saturday the 29th of November.

The tournament format will be am am teams of 4 and will take place in the fabulous Ceann Sibéal in Ballyferriter.

There will be a bus on the day so that everyone can travel together and enjoy the atmosphere without the hassle of driving.

There are limited places so sign up now so as not to miss out on this great day out. There is a timesheet available in the Club for you to fill in your team details.

Congratulations

Congratulations go this week to Ciara and Mark Fitzgerald on the recent addition to their family, a beautiful baby girl.

Congratulations to David Moran who picked up his GPA All Star on Friday last. Well done David.

Ladies Football

U12 Girls will continue to train indoors in Cumann Iosaef for to time being on Wednesday evenings 6-7. Contact Linda Gleeson for information on 085 7803462.

Birthday Wishes

Birthday wishes this week go to Jayden Collins U6 Boys and Kevin Molloy U10 Boys. Enjoy your Birthdays.

Lotto

The Lotto takes place in Charlie’s Bar every Monday. The Lotto results for Monday the 20th of October were 2, 11, 15 and 25.

There was no jackpot winner; the next jackpot will be €7,400. There were 2 match 3 winners. They were Kieran Griffin DD and Billy Kissane DD. The 5 entrants for the December Draw were Trish and Mollie c/o Lillian, Jackie Stephenson c/o Eileen, Noreen Wren c/o Dollie, Niamh Begley DD and James Hayes DD.

To play the Kerins O’Rahillys Lotto, four numbers are selected from 1 to 28. If anybody matches the four numbers selected on the night he/she wins the Jackpot. Match three numbers to win €25. Tickets cost €2 each. The Kerins O’Rahillys Lotto can also be played online at www.korgaa.com

Lotto Sellers The club needs lotto ticket sellers. It can be worth your while. If you are interested contact any member of the Senior Committee.

Cards

Whist drive is back in the Club on Thursday nights. Join in from 8.30 on.

Charlie’s Bar

Club Lotto on takes place in the bar every Monday night with a special in house raffle if you are present so why not pop along.

Why not treat yourself to lunch in Charlie’s. There’s something to please everyone.

Weightwatchers takes place in the Healy Room every Thursday and have now changed to “winter” times. Classes now take place at 9.30am, 12.30 and 5.30pm.

The Active Retired Coffee Morning Group meets every Tuesday morning in Charlie’s. Come along and keep in touch with old friends and make new friends. All welcome.

“Dance for Fun” is back on Wednesday nights. All welcome.

We have many different size function rooms and cater to all types of functions. Contact Tom or Eileen or any member of staff at 7124956 if you have any queries.
