U8/10 Boys U8/10 – Boys trained in the Sports complex on Sunday last. There were good numbers and everyone is getting back into the swing of things. Training continues on Sunday next the 7th at 11am.

U12 U12 – Boys trained in the Sports complex on Sunday last. Training continues on Sunday next the 7th at 12pm.

U8/10 – Girls Indoor training continued for the U8/10 girls on Friday last at the John Mitchel complex.

With great numbers showing up every week the girls are having fun and honing their skills for when they go back out on to the field of play. Indoor training will continue on Friday next the 7th of December from 5pm to 6pm at the John Mitchels Complex in Ballyseede.

This will be the last indoor session for the girls. The girls will have their Christmas Party on Sunday next the at 4pm in the Healy room at the club.

U12/14s – Training continues on Wednesday evenings at 5.45 for this age group in CBS The Green school hall.

U16s – Training for this age group continues indoors at CBS The Green school hall on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Entry at new entrance on Dan Spring Rd at traffic lights.

Senior Football

The Senior town Championship Semi-finals have been fixed for the 7th of December. We play John Mitchels in Strand Road at 2pm.

Golf Outing

The Kerins O’Rahillys Christmas party/golf took place on Saturday last the 29th of November. The teams of 4 went to the fabulous Ceann Sibéal in Ballyferriter. Winners on the day were Seán Walsh Snr’s Team. This just goes to show that Seán is the “best golfer in Strand Road” and everyone had a great day out.

Ladies Football

U12 Girls will continue to train indoors in Cumann Iosaef for to time being on Wednesday evenings 6-7. Contact Linda Gleeson for information on 085 7803462. The U12 girls will have their Christmas Party in the Healy Rm at the club on Sunday at 4pm.

Best of luck to Nora Corridon and Richard Donnelly who are dancing in the St Pats GAA Strictly Event on December 5th. Both are mentors with us on a Saturday morning.

Congratulations

Kerins O’Rahillys would like to extend its congratulations to Castleisland Desmond Ladies on winning the Tesco Homegrown Intermediate All-Ireland Final on Saturday last.

Well done also to Ardfert who became Intermediate Munster Champions and to neighbours Austin Stacks on becoming Munster Senior Club Champions. Well done to all.

Lotto

The Lotto takes place in Charlie’s Bar every Monday. The Lotto results for Monday the 24th of November were 3, 14, 19 and 24. There was no jackpot winner; the next jackpot will be €7,900.

There were 3 match 3 winners. They were Tony Casey c/o Fred, James Hussey c/o Ann and Billy Thompson DD. The 5 entrants for the December Draw were Tom McCarthy c/o Mrs O’Brien, Lillian Inchley c/o Lillian, Peggy Conway c/o Ann, Noreen Ashe c/o Mrs O’Brien and Pat Quirke Derrymore.

To play the Kerins O’Rahillys Lotto, four numbers are selected from 1 to 28. If anybody matches the four numbers  selected on the night he/she wins the Jackpot. Match three numbers to win €25. Tickets cost €2 each. The Kerins O’Rahillys Lotto can also be played online at www.korgaa.com

Lotto Sellers The club needs lotto ticket sellers. It can be worth your while. If you are interested contact any member of the Senior Committee.

Cards

Whist drive is back in the Club on Thursday nights. Join in from 8.30 on.

Pilates Classes

Do you want to improve your flexibility? Do you suffer from back, neck or hip pain? Do you want to improve your strength and tone up? Well look no further “Pilates Classes” are coming to Kerins O’Rahillys on Tuesday evenings. Pregnancy classes at 6pm and Pilates for Fitness at 7pm. Charlie’s Bar

Club Lotto on takes place in the bar every Monday night with a special in house raffle if you are present so why not pop along. Why not treat yourself to lunch in Charlie’s. There’s something to please everyone.

Weightwatchers takes place in the Healy Room every Thursday and have now changed to “winter” times. Classes now take place at 9.30am, 12.30 and 6.30pm.

The Active Retired Coffee Morning Group meets every Tuesday morning in Charlie’s. Come along and keep in touch with old friends and make new friends. All welcome.

“Dance for Fun” is back on Wednesday nights. All welcome.

With the Christmas season approaching fast why not get ahead of the crowd and book your Christmas Party in Charlies. We have a sparkling range of Party nights available so book fast so as not to be disappointed. We have many different size function rooms and cater to all types of functions.
