Minor Football

Coiste Trá Lí League Kerins O’Rahillys 4-10 Ballymacelligott 3-06

The second round of the Coiste Trá Lí Minor League was played on Sunday last. We played host to Ballymacelligott and the game was played with 14 a side in very poor wet and windy conditions. We went in at half time the much stronger side with a convincing 2-05 to Ballymacelligott’s 0-02 points. However Ballymac were not giving up and did put up some fine scores in the second half but they were no match for us on the day and we came out winners on a score of Kerins O’Rahillys 4-10 to their 3-06.  Next game is Round 3 on Saturday next 13-02-2016 4.00pm Kerins O’Rahillys v Na Gaeil.

The Minor Co League starts on Saturday February 20th. Round 1 sees us play away to Gneeveguilla at 4pm. We will be in Division 1 along with Dr Crokes, Firies, Gneeveguilla, Austin Stacks and Listowel Emmets. We would like to wish new Minor Manager Declan Quill and his team the very best of luck for the year ahead.
