Féile Peil na nÓg 2016

The club’s Féile Committee are presently working hard to ensure that we have a very well run National Féile at our Club on the weekend of 24th to 26th of June next. We are delighted to be hosting St. Michael’s from Sligo u14 boys and Ballysaggart from Waterford u14 girls and we extend a warm welcome to Strand Road to both Clubs. This will be a very busy weekend at our club and we are putting activity plans in place to so that our visiting teams, mentors and families will have a most enjoyable and long remembered weekend with us. Great fundraising has been organised to date by Kathy McCarthy and Shirley Doody, we have had 2 bag packing days and a cake sale and we plan to hold a race night in early June at the club, this is all being done in an effort to raise funds for gear for our own boys and girls u14 teams. A sincere thanks to everyone who has helped in any way with our fundraising efforts to date.

Thanks, Haulie Kerins, Feile Official.
