U6/8/10 All activity for this age group is now taking a short break. Normal service resumes on Saturday the 6th of September at 11am.
U12s travelled to Castlegregory on Monday last to play in the Central league. They came away with loss and a draw. Their next game away to Annascaul on Monday last was switched to Tuesday. Report next week.
U14s Kerins O’Rahillys are at home to Ardfert on Wednesday evening at 6.30 in the Town League.

Senior Football

U21s: Our U21s play Moyvane/Tarbert in the U21 club shield on Wednesday the 27th August at 6.45 in Strand Rd.

Mouth-Guards

As you may be aware it will be compulsory for all players senior right down to juvenile to wear mouth-guards at training sessions and when playing games.

This comes into effect for seniors from 1st January 2014 and has been in effect for all others since last January. If players fail to wear mouth guards they will not be permitted to participate in football training or matches. No mouthguard No game! Further information on this rule can be found online at http://www.gaa.ie.

Club Membership

Senior Committee will be in contact with you shortly about your 2014 membership. We will be asking that you consider putting your membership on direct debit to help cut down on administration. Please contact any committee member for details.

Tickets for Replay

We will do everything possible to facilitate our members in getting tickets for the All-Ireland replay. As the replay is in Limerick.

Ladies Football

U14/U16 U14 and U16 Ladies train every Tuesday at 6.15 in Ballyrickard.

Congratulations

Congratulations to the Kerry minor team and their management on reaching the All-Ireland final. Well done in particular to Cormac Coffey on his performance and to Alan O’Sullivan for his involvement with the team.

Good Luck

Best wishes to the Kerry seniors and management in their Semi-Final replay against Mayo on Saturday next in Limerick. Congratulations to David Moran and Barry John Keane on their performances last Sunday and all the best for Saturday.

Lotto

The Lotto takes place in Charlie’s Bar every Monday. The Lotto results for Monday the 18th of August were 1, 6, 13, and 24. There was no jackpot winner; the next jackpot will be €6,500.

There were 1 match 3 winner. That was Maura O’ Donnell Cahills Park. The 5 entrants for the December draw were Betty O’Brien c/o Fred, Jade c/o Eileen, Mary Moran O’Rahillys Villas, Kayrena Hayden c/o Ann and Rory Kerins DD.

To play the Kerins O’Rahillys Lotto, four numbers are selected from 1 to 28. If anybody matches the four numbers selected on the night he/she wins the Jackpot. Match three numbers to win €25. Tickets cost €2 each. The Kerins O’Rahillys Lotto can also be played online at www.korgaa.com
Lotto Sellers The club needs lotto ticket sellers. It can be worth your while. If you are interested contact any member of the Senior Committee.

Charlie’s Bar

Club Lotto on takes place in the bar every Monday night with a special in house raffle if you are present so why not pop along. Why not treat yourself to lunch in Charlie’s. There’s something to please everyone. Weightwatchers takes place in the Healy Room every Thursday and have now changed to “winter” times.

Classes now take place at 9.30am, 12.30 and 5.30pm. The Active Retired Coffee Morning Group meets every Tuesday morning in Charlie’s. Come along and keep in touch with old friends and make new friends. All welcome.

“Dance for Fun” has finished for the summer but will make a return in the autumn. Keep an eye on the notes for dates and times. We have many different size function rooms and cater to all types of function.

We also have Barbecue facilities so with beautiful summer weather why not consider having a barbecue at Charlie’s. Contact Tom or Eileen or any member of staff at 7124956 if you have any queries.
