Everyone on the Senior, Juvenile and Ladies Committees at Kerins O’Rahillys would like to wish our Players, Members, Supporters and especially all of our Volunteers “without whom none of it would be possible” a very Happy Christmas and a very Prosperous New Year both on and off the pitch. Enjoy the break and we hope Santa is really good to all of our younger players.

Juveniles

There will be an awards night and medal presentation for our U12s, U14s and U16s on Sunday the 28th of December at 6pm in the Clubhouse. All are asked to attend along with their families. There will be fun and refreshments provided on the night.

Senior Football

Senior Town Championship Semi-final replay was cancelled with agreement of both clubs and the Town Board. It is now refixed for Saturday the 17th of January at 7pm in the  John Mitchels complex. The final is fixed for Sunday 31st at 2pm in Ballymac.

Ladies Football

Kerins O’Rahillys Ladies AGM will take place on Friday the 9th of January. All nominations to be in to Secretary Yvonne Quill by end of day on the 2nd of January. Nominations to email yvonneq2010@gmail.com

 Presentation on History of Club

We arranged that two historians Ryle Dwyer and Pádraig O’Conchubhair give a presentation on the lives of The O’Rahilly and Charlie Kerins on Wednesday December 17th at 7.30pm. Club Chairman Frank O’Connor opened proceedings and there was great interaction from the large crowd in attendance. Everyone present agreed that the night was very informative as well as entertaining.

Birthday Wishes

Birthday wishes this week go to Cori Boylan U6s and Caitlin Pierce U12s. Enjoy your Birthdays!

Lotto

The Lotto takes place in Charlie’s Bar every Monday. The Lotto results for Monday the 15th of December were 4, 16, 20 and 26. There was no jackpot winner; the next jackpot will be €8,200. There were 3 match 3 winner. They were Pro Plan Management, Trevor Thomas c/o Fred and Martin, Mom, Dad c/o Ann. The 5 entrants for the December Draw were Julie and Jordan c/o Ann, Maura O’Donnell c/o Ann, Jamie McCannon c/o Ann, Tim O’Brien c/o Mrs O’Brien and Reggie Griffin DD. To play the Kerins O’Rahillys Lotto, four numbers are selected from 1 to 28. If anybody matches the four numbers selected on the night he/she wins the Jackpot. Match three numbers to win €25. Lotto Sellers The club needs lotto ticket sellers. It can be worth your while. If you are interested contact any member of the Senior Committee

Cards

Whist drive is back in the Club on Thursday nights. Join in from 8.30 on.

Pilates Classes

Do you want to improve your flexibility? Do you suffer from back, neck or hip pain? Do you want to improve your strength and tone up? Well look no further “Pilates Classes” are coming to Kerins O’Rahillys on Tuesday evenings. Pregnancy classes at 6pm and Pilates for Fitness at 7pm. Charlie’s Bar

Club Lotto on takes place in the bar every Monday night with a special in house raffle if you are present so why not pop along. Why not treat yourself to lunch in Charlie’s. There’s something to please everyone. Weightwatchers takes place in the Healy Room every Thursday and have now changed to “winter” times. Classes now take place at 9.30am, 12.30 and 6.30pm. The Active Retired Coffee Morning Group meets every Tuesday morning in Charlie’s. Come along and keep in touch with old friends and make new friends. All welcome. “Dance for Fun” is back on Wednesday nights. All welcome. With the Christmas season in full swing why not get in touch with Charlies and see what is available to help you celebrate the festive season. With free parking all day and only a short walk from town it’s the perfect place to round off a days Christmas shopping. We have many different size function rooms and cater to all types of functions. Contact Tom or Eileen or any member of staff at 7124956 if you have any queries.
