A HORDE of Naries went west on Saturday for the stag party of Joe Griffin.
The Kerries native and die-hard Kerins O’Rahilly’s man, set off with his brothers Mike and Kieran, buddies from the Strand Road Club and his dad, 85-year-old Pat, for a night in the wild west.
“It’ll be a bit of craic alright. There’s 20 of us heading in the bus and we’re meeting another six lads out there,” said Joe, who will marry Rebecca Ryan from Cois Laoi on December 11 at Ballyseedy Castle.
“We’ll have a slow journey back on Sunday then,” said Joe.
Does that mean ye’ll miss the Stacks match I asked.
“Oh yeah, on purpose!” he laughed.
