Grade Ds:

The grade D competition was held in the Presentation gym in Killarney and hosted 3 teams. Kerry, Cork and Tipperary. On the day, Tipperary were the strongest team after beating both Kerry (6 games to 3)  and Cork.

Kerry then went on to beat Cork(6 games to 3) meaning that they took home silver on the day!

Well done to all the players on the Kerry grade D team all playing very well on the day. A big thank you to those to all those who ran the competition as this competition was being run by Kerry badminton.

The Kerry grade F team had an early rise Sunday morning as they travelled to Borrisoleigh in co.Tipperary. There was 5 out of the 6 counties playing in this competition. Kerry, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford all had teams playing on the day.

Kerry had to play Tipperary in their first game and unfortunately lost out here 6 games to 3.

So then, they went on to play Limerick in the next round winning this by the skin of their teeth coming down to the last game. In the end they won 5 games to 4.

The team then fell to a very strong Waterford team in the semifinal. Waterford then went on to win the final against Cork. Well done to all the players and manager on the day.

Finally the grade H Kerry team went all the way to Cappoquin in co. Waterford to play in their competition.

It was great to see all 6 counties competing in this competition. Kerry played Cork and Limerick unfortunately losing out to both on the day.

Playing Cork in their first game, the team played very well in some very close games but just losing out in the end 6 games to 3.

They then went on to play against a very strong Limerick team and were beaten well by the eventual winners on the day.

A big thank you to all players and managers for travelling and playing on the day all the teams did very well and represented Kerry badminton very well!
