Kerry CAN To Host Public Meeting With Local Politicians

KERRY Climate Action Network is inviting everyone to a public meeting with a number of local politicians, giving an opportunity to listen to their plans and to ask them questions on their views on climate change and the change they can effect in government.

The meeting takes place at the North Campus of the ITT on this Thursday, January 30 at 6.30pm to address how best to work with our political representatives to put Climate Action at the top of the political agenda.

“This government must be the Climate Action Government. The steps we (they) take in the next 4-10 years will decide the future of this county, this country and the entire planet,” said a spokesperson for Kerry CAN.

Kerry Climate Action Network is a network of individuals and environmental non-Government Organisations (NGOs) based in Kerry that work individually and, on occasion, collectively to act on climate change.

They aim to highlight the threat posed by climate change, take climate action, and address climate adaptation.
