A DINGLE chef will appear on a brand new RTÉ Player original series called ‘Battle of The Food Trucks’ which begins on Tuesday next.
James Patrice is the host as food truck chefs from across Ireland will go head-to-head to be crowned Ireland’s finest food truck.
Louise Brosnan is a trained chef from Dingle taking part. She most recently worked in a Spanish restaurant, but always had a love of Mexican food. She wanted to set up her own business and now that she has her own food truck, Mex West.

She’ll be out to impress the judges – Eric Matthews, Head Chef at Michelin starred Chapter One Restaurant and Instagram sensation and cookbook author Gina Daly of The Daly Dish.
Over the course of six weeks, six contestants compete against one another in a series of challenges to see who can win the crown and the coveted title of “Irelands Finest Food Truck” and drive away with €5,000 prize money.
In each episode, the food trucks are set a cooking challenge by James Patrice and then Judges Eric Matthews and Gina Daly decide who is going home or who will battle it out for another week. Tune in next Tuesday on the RTE Player to find out more.
