Kerry Chocolatier Is Finalist In National Enterprise Awards

LORGE Chocolatier, has been announced as a finalist for this year’s National Enterprise Awards.  The awards, an initiative of the Local Enterprise Offices, will take place virtually on February 11.

Lorge Chocolatier was selected to represent Local Enterprise Office Kerry at the awards and will compete against 29 other finalists for a prize fund totalling €50,000.

Lorge Chocolatier  was founded by Benoit Lorge and supplies a wide range of chocolates and confectionery to gourmet shops, including handmade truffles, bars, nougat and hot chocolate powder.

It has two retail stores, one of which incorporates the factory where its products are made. It ships confectionery worldwide through its website www.lorge.ie

The finalists, selected by the Local Enterprise Offices in local authorities, represent a diverse range of businesses that are supported by the LEOs across the country.

Now in their 22nd year, the awards celebrate small businesses and includes awards that recognise excellence in exporting, sustainability and innovation along with eight regional awards and an overall National Enterprise Awards winner.
