The Centrepoint Building in town will be getting new tenants soon.

THE Centrepoint Building will welcome new tenants next week when the staff of the Kerry Education and Training Board (KETB) relocate to the premises.

The staff will move from their current base in the Riverside House at Dan Spring Road to the more centrally located building on John Joe Sheehy Road.

The building opposite Casement Station, was built in 2008 by Lee Strand but has remained largely unused since then, with only the Courts Services having a presence there, occupying offices since 2011.

There should be minimal disruption in Kerry ETB services with existing phone numbers and contact details to remain fully operational during the transition, but Kerry ETB has issued an appeal for patience if there is a slight delay in services.
