The EXPO showcases business, sport, lifestyle, entertainment and recruitment across the entire county. Major industries in collaboration with sponsoring bodies and the sporting industry are set to drive the message, that Kerry is open for business and this county offers an unbeatable life style coupled with career advancement and low cost of living.

Collaborative efforts from diverse sectors means, there’s no doubt that Kerry has the ability to steer its own economic growth engine and we are entering into an era of confidence and upturn.

Organiser’s of the Kerry EXPO say the goal here is to highlight the county’s many social and commercial offerings.

It is designed to allow companies of all sizes to integrate, while at the same time connect and engage with the Kerry community in a fun and interactive environment. Corporations, industries and organisations across Kerry have collaborated with the GAA and IFA to raise awareness with regards to the social and commercial aspects of the county, in a bid to repopulate both the playing fields and the vacant job positions.

The promotion of Kerry as the place to live, work and study is very much showcased as employers and exhibiting organisations believe that Kerry, above other counties, is blessed with both quality of life, career opportunities and low cost of living.

Pressure is mounting to attract trade, investment, employment and suitable individuals to fill job vacancies, as these are identified as the key drivers of growth, particularly in rural Kerry.

Director of Kerry EXPO, Liz Maher says that; “Events like this are extremely costly both from a financial and resource commitment. The support extended by the management team, supporting partners and financial sponsors and sponsors in kind, has been truly amazing.

“Together major companies, organisations and institutions have contributed greatly, allowing us to bring a day of celebration to Kerry, while at the same time keeping costs at affordable levels for smaller businesses. Contributions and sponsorship has facilitated inclusion and support for small and start-up companies and allowed them to contribute to the greater business community.

Even in a time when most large companies are expanding their own horizons they have been generous with both their time and commitment. We are delighted with the collaborative efforts made by all concerned and all have been extremely accommodating and engaging in every aspect of the event. Equally we are extremely lucky to have companies that have a willingness to give back to their community and strong organisations and institutions that are willing to collaborate, sponsor and indeed support an event like the EXPO”.
