Kerry To Faro Route Will Return This Summer

GREAT news for Kerry holidaymakers. It has been announced that Ryanair’s Kerry to Faro route will return again this summer and flights are on sale now.

The flights begin from Saturday, June 2 and will run on Tuesdays and Saturdays until the end of September.

There had been a doubt over whether it would go ahead or not after a member of the public contacted the airline via Twitter last week to enquire if the route was going ahead.

The airline responded saying the route was not operating and to seek an alternative route. Basil Sheeran of Kerry Airport said they would be contacting Ryanair to fight to keep the route as it has proved to be a hugely popular over the summer months.

Those discussions must have paid off and now you can fly to the Algarve from an airport close-by this summer.

The flight times are Saturday leaving Kerry at 7.30pm and arriving in Faro at 10.15pm. Coming back, the Saturday flight from Faro leaves at 4.20pm and arrives in Kerry at 7.05pm.

The flight times for Tuesdays are leaving Kerry at 1.05pm and arriving in Faro at 3.50pm. Coming back, the Tuesday flight from Faro leaves at 9.55am and arrives in Kerry at 12.40pm.
