Kerry FC Academy U14 and U15 teams were in action at the weekend.
Under 15
The U15,s travelled to Cobh on Sunday and came away with a point thanks to an injury time goal from Kalen Browne.
Christy Burke hit a 20 metre shot to give Kerry an early lead. However Cobh replied with a brace before Rob Keane restored parity for the visitors.
The home side looked as if they sealed the points with goals in the 47th and 77th minutes.
Ethan Ballard gave Kerry hope with a tremendous 25 metre volley in the 83rd minute . Late Kerry FC pressure was rewarded with Kalen Browne’s goal to the delight of Kerry,s travelling supporters.
Under 14s
The U14,s travelled to Limerick to play Treaty on Saturday. This young side have improved in the last few weeks. Results are not registered in the youngest LOI matches.
Next weekend fixtures are Sat 18th Under 17 Treaty v Kerry FC at 2pm in UL.Sun Under 19 Treaty v KerryFC at 2pm in UL.
