KFF are looking for short film entries.

KERRY Film Festival (KFF) which will take place from October 21 to October 25, is on the look-out for entries for its short film competition in a number of categories

Organisers of the festival are inviting entries in the areas of ‘Best Narrative’, ‘Best Documentary’, ‘Best Animated Film’ and ‘Best Animated Score’ with an early bird deadline of May 25 and July 25 being the final deadline for submissions.

KFF has previously featured successful shorts such as the Oscar® short-listed “Head over Heels” in 2012 and the 2014 Oscar® winner “Mr Hublot”.

It is hoped that this competition will be of huge benefit to many new and emerging filmmakers and that by showing their work to a larger audience, they will be able to build both reputation and a burgeoning network around the world.

Filmmakers will have the chance for their work to be seen by a panel of adjudicators which has in recent years included leading lights such as Richard Baneham who is an Academy Award and BAFTA winning Animator, ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Screenwriter Mark Bomback, Directors Lenny Abrahamson and Paul Greengrass, and Producer Finola Dwyer.

Check out the website here for full details on how to submit your entry or for further information, you can send an email to roisin@kerryfilmfestival.com.
