THERE’S still time to contribute to Kerry Hospice’s annual Sunflower Day which takes place on Saturday.

The annual fundraiser, which raised over €40,00o in 2019, like many of these events over the past year, it will not take place in the normal manner.

The street collections will not take place again this year due to Covid restrictions but in an effort to keep the tradition alive, they are going to have a Virtual Sunflower Garden.

An iDonate page has been set up, the idea being that they will add a sunflower to the garden — which will be located on the grounds of the Inpatient Unit — on your behalf, in memory of a loved one or just someone you are thinking of this time of year, when you make a donation.

You can access the idonate page by clicking here.

Kerry Hospice will write your message on the back of the printed card and add it to the garden.  They also hope to have sunflower pins in selected shops around the county in the week leading up to the big day .

Everyone who donates will also be entered into a raffle to win a beautifully handmade, Faux Floral Sunflower Wreath, which has been kindly sponsored by LittleLoveStems.
