IT must be awards season in the tourism industry with news that another Kerry hotel has won a prestigious accolade.
Ard na Sidhe Country House, which is situated on the shores of Caragh Lake, Killorglin near the scenic Ring Of Kerry has made the prestigious ‘Condé Nast Travellers’ list for the best hotels for under £150 a night.
The reviews are strong in their praise of the hotel as they talk about ‘the hint of magic at work’ at the hotel and setting which they describe as bewitching.
It’s joined on the list alongside properties like the Hotel le Sénéchal on France’s Ile de Ré, Brooklyn’s Urban Cowboy B&B, Toronto’s Drake Hotel and Kokohuia Lodge in New Zealand on the list.

Looking at these photos it’s no wonder it’s won. The hotel will re-open its doors for the 2015 season on May 1.
