A LOCAL business has sponsored medical kits for Kerry Ladies Football teams.
Rory Kilgallen, Director of Kerry Ladies Football Academy thanked Morgan O’Connell of O’Connell’s pharmacy in Monavalley, for his generosity.
“When he heard of Kerry Ladies Football U15 and U17 Academy’s upcoming trip to Boston, he insisted that no stone should be left unturned in their preparations,” said Rory.
It’s planned to send about 65 girls from the Under 15 and Under 17 squads to Boston to play games in late August.
Meanwhile, Kerry LGFA is holding a night at the dogs fundraiser on Saturday, May 25, with all funds raised distributed evenly between club and county ensuring the growth of club football and the participation of county teams at intercounty level. Tickets can be sourced from clubs.
