Message from Selina Looney, Kerry LGFA Chairperson to the LGFA Community
I would like to firstly congratulate and highlight the incredible performance by the senior ladies in their TG4 All Ireland Senior Quarter Final game against Armagh on Saturday.
As you are aware the TG4 All Ireland semi-final Kerry v Mayo will take place in Croke Park on Saturday 16th of July. Throw in is at 2pm
This is a huge day for all involved in Kerry LGFA and we need all clubs to get behind the Senior Ladies in their endeavour to reach the All Ireland final.
To accommodate clubs to support the team and allow all our members the opportunity to enjoy the experience we are cancelling all LGFA activity and games on the weekend of the 16th/17th July.
Kerry LGFA will organize buses to accommodate supporters to travel to Croke Park on July 16th.
Buses will be available in Killarney and Tralee with pick up in Farranfore, Castleisland and Abbeyfeale.
To book a place on a bus names and contact details and pick up point must be emailed to secretary.kerry@lgfa.ie no later than 9pm Thursday 14th July.
Cost will be €40 for adults, €30 for children (Children U18)
U18s must be accompanied by an adult
Strictly no alcohol allowed on the buses.
There will be a stop on the way up and on the way home. Buses will leave directly after the Kerry v Mayo game.
Times to be confirmed as soon as buses are filled.
We would ask each club to encourage your members to get active on social media this week and send in your videos / messages from you players/managements / members of best wishes to the team and get behind the Senior Ladies this week.
This is a monumentous occasion and we implore every club to come along and support the Kerry Senior Ladies and enjoy a spectacular game of Ladies Football.
