Kerry Schools To Get 48 Extra SNAs

SOME 48 extra SNAs will be allocated to Kerry schools in September. The announcement was made by Minister for Education and Skills Richard Bruton today.

This will bring the total number of SNAs to 573 locally in Kerry, secondary schools will receive an extra nine SNAs and Primary schools will receive an extra 39 SNAs.

Leas Cathaoirleach, Kerry Senator Paul Coghlan welcomed the news saying: “Today’s announcement will ensure every child who needs SNA support in Kerry will receive it. It is also expected that a further allocation will be announced during the first term of the new school year.”
