Cllr Toireasa Ferris commenting today said; “As public representatives we are often contacted by workers who are unsure of their rights and entitlements surrounding their working conditions. This seminar will have experts from the relevant Trade Unions who will address the multitude of issues surrounding dignity in the workplace. It will give workers the opportunity to put any questions they may have to experts in their field.”

“The topic of conversation will include, health & safety in the workplace, rates of pay and minimum rates of pay, entitlement to sick and holiday pay amongst others. I would encourage anyone who is ensure of their rights and entitlements to come along and find answers to any of their questions.”

The seminar is free of charge and is open to all, whether you are a seasonal or temporary worker or working full-time.
