KERRY’S minors and seniors will revert back to their traditional green and gold colours for the All-Ireland finals on September 21.
It was thought that Kerry seniors might retain the blue jerseys they wore for the semi-final against Mayo because of Donegal’s similar colours, but a statement on the Kerry GAA website this morning read as follows: “Croke Park have given Kerry the go-ahead to wear their traditional jerseys in the All-Ireland Finals on September 21. Kerry will therefore be wearing their usual green and gold jerseys/white togs.”
Kerry wore blue for their 2012 All-Ireland Quarter-Final clash with Donegal which the Kingdom lost by two points (1-12 to 1-10).
