KERRY will play their Allianz Hurling League Relegation Playoff match with Laois on Saturday April 2 at 5pm at Austin Stack Park.
It was speculated the Division 1B match would be part of a double-header with Kerry’s last football league game against Cork on Sunday, April 3, but the hurlers will get the venue to themselves.
Kerry finished level with both Wexford and Offaly on 4 points but those counties had a better scoring difference and so go into the Quarter Finals.
Kerry will be hoping to repeat the result of the opening day of the league season when they beat Laois away. However, Laois have improved since then, which should make it a difficult match for the Kingdom.
