KERRY people were big winners on Saturday night’s Winning Streak show on RTE with two players winning €73,000 between them…and there’s more to come next week!

Josephine Quinlan from Knocknagoshel, won €39,000 including a car while Jim K Morris from Killarney, won €34,000, on the National Lottery Gameshow.

Jim purchased his ticket at Daly’s SuperValu, Park Road, Killarney. He bartends part-time in Killarney and works as a tourism coordinator for tourism company, Go Kerry (gokerry.ie).

James said he would love to use his winnings to visit friends in the US.

Josephine, originally from Galway but living in Kerry for the past 38 years, bought her Winning Streak card in Supervalu in Abbeyfeale and was watching the show when her name was called and went into shock. Josephine also won a trip to New York on Concorde with the National Lottery in 1999.

Remarkably, another Knocknagoshel women will be appearing on the show next week when Ellen Brosnan of Lough Fouder, had her ticket picked out by host Marty Whelan.

I’d say they’ll be a lot of tickets sold in the village now! These things come in threes…
