A LOCAL man will become a minion of the evil empire this Sunday to help raise funds for a young boy battling Leukemia.
Photographer Keith McGlynn will don a Star Wars’ stormtrooper outfit and station himself in Manor West Shopping Centre on Sunday, November 24 where he is hoping people will pose for a photo and make a donation.
“Basically, I am running this fundraiser to raise funds for the ‘Cian Lenihan Leukemia Fund’,” said Keith. “As a close friend of the family, I try to do as much fundraising as I can for them, to help with their continued horrific medical costs.

In January 2018, at just two and a half, Cian was diagnosed with Leukemia. He has been battling this dreaded disease every day, and continues to get chemotherapy daily. He also has to go to Dublin monthly for more intense chemo,” continued Keith.
