KIRBY’S Brogue Inn has been shortlisted in the annual Knorr Great Carvery Pub of the Year competition.
The Rock Street hostelry is one of three pubs shortlisted for the Munster final of the competition with the winner going forward to Great Carvery Pub of the Year National Final.
The Brogue is the reigning champion in the Munster region and will look to defend their title facing stiff competition from Bobby Byrne’s in Limerick and The Hi-Way Bar, Dooradoyle, Co. Limerick.

The shortlisted nominees will receive a visit from the team of mystery diners to determine who serves the best carvery in the chosen pubs and hotels in Munster.
The provincial pub and hotel winners will be announced on September 10 followed by the crowning of the overall Knorr Great Carvery Hotel and KNORR Great Carvery Pub of the Year titles on September 21.
