AN unaccompanied learner driver was arrested by Gardaí on Tuesday night after driving at high speed in the Ballymac area.
The Kerry Roads Policing Unit detected the driver, a male in his late teens, travelling at 170km/hr in a 100 zone in what they described as “icy conditions”.
A post on the Garda Síochána Southern Region Facebook page stated the driver was arrested and the vehicle was seized.
