LEE Strand have shown their appreciation to Coláiste Gleann Lí for their efforts to support front line staff during lockdown.

During April and May when the most stringent restrictions were in place, engineering teacher in the school Mr Michael O’ Sullivan, supported by a team of teachers,  manufactured thousands of units of PPE face visors for local healthcare facilities particularly nursing homes.

In recognition of this wonderful gesture to the community, a cheque for €500 was presented by James Sugrue of Lee Strand to the school on Wednesday.
