Less Than Five COVID Cases Reported For Kerry This Evening, 539 Nationally

LIKE yesterday and Saturday, there were less than five new cases of COVID-19 reported for Kerry this evening.

When the number is less than five, the exact figure is revealed the following day on the COVID data hub on gov.ie.

There was one additional death and 539 more cases reported nationally.

The 14 day incidence of new cases for Kerry is 31.8 per 100,000 people. There have been 47 cases reported in the same period and the rolling five day average of cases is 1.

Kerry is still the county with the lowest incidence of cases in the past 14 days. The national incidence rate over the past 14 days is 163.7.

There have now been 235,078 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland and 4,667 people who died with the virus since the start of the pandemic.

As of 8am today, 331 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 70 are in ICU. There have been 19 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.

As of last Friday (26 March), there have been 786,569 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered in Ireland:
• 567,023 people have received their first dose
• 219,546 people have received their second dose
