Some patients have to travel from Kerry to Cork every day and the bus is equipped with the essentials to give them a comfortable journey. The service runs from Monday to Friday, providing transport to and from Cork University Hospital.

Cancer treatment can be daunting, but the Kerry – Cork Health Link Bus offers a promise that their users will never have to make the journey alone.

On board, patrons talk about the connections they have made; the journey becomes more about a spirit of community than about illness. People build relationships which last beyond their treatment, helping them as they recover.
