WHILE the St Patrick’s Day parade was a colourful and well attended affair and gardaí reported no public order arrests yesterday, there was still one element to the day which spoiled things a bit.
The Square was left heavily littered by the late afternoon, which prompted the Tralee Chamber Alliance facebook page to put up this post…
Many people leaving comments laid the blame at the door of young people and their parents. It prompted a whole load of comments about teenagers hanging around the Square, with some saying they have nowhere else to go and more giving examples of the many facilities available to young people in town.
There was also reports of anti-social behaviour near the playground in the Town Park. To see the debate on the Facebook page click here.
