BUSINESSES in Manor have got together to begin a new loyalty scheme which the founder hopes will help local shops compete against the large multiples and chain stores.

Sullycard is a new loyalty/discount program founded in Tralee by Seamus O’Sullivan who has run a butchering business in the town for the past 25 years.

The scheme was soft-launched at Seamus O’Sullivan Master Butchers in December  and since then ‘Horans Fruit & Veg Manor Tralee’ and ‘ Dingle Seafood Manor Tralee ‘ have joined as business partners.

“It is all about co-operation between local businesses working together, in an organised way, toward a common goal,” said Seamus.

The idea is to create a large network of businesses who welcome Sullycard holders and drive business to each other.

It is a full scale professionally managed loyalty/discount program that is offered to local independent businesses at an extremely competitive price.

The incentive for customers, who sign up as Sullycard holders, is a 10% discount at participating businesses.

Sullycard holders pay a small monthly subscription for membership which equates to 10% of their monthly savings.

In other words the subscription amounts to €1 for every €10 a member saves. If there are no savings there is no charge – ever.

Joining for both businesses and members is fast and easy.
