Local Enterprise Centres To Receive Government Funding

THE HQ Coworking Space Ltd. and the Kerry Innovation Centre CLG / Tom Crean Business Centre will both receive grants under Enterprise Ireland’s Enterprise Centres Fund.

In all, seven Enterprise Centres around the county will receive €557,000 in total. Eligible enterprise centres could apply for funding of a minimum of €10,000 and up to a maximum of €150,000. Funding will be administered in the form of grant aid of up to 80 per cent of eligible costs detailed in the Recovery Plan submitted by each applicant.

Kerry Innovation Centre CLG t/a Tom Crean Business Centre in Kerry Technology Park will receive €95,067 and HQ Coworking Space Ltd. — which has offices and working spaces in Tralee and Listowel — will get €91,920.

Others to receive funding are The Box CoWork Ltd €46,600; Killarney Technology Innovation Limited €75,600; Mol Teic €65,680; RDI Hub Company Limited by Guarantee €104,794 and Sneem Innovation & Technology Services CLG €77,808.

The grants for Kerry hubs are part of €8 million announced by Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar. The fund was open to both not-for-profit and for-profit enterprise centres.
