A LOCAL man is getting all set to host his very fundraising table quiz night next week as he looks to raise funds and sponsorship as part of his efforts as a Rose of Tralee escort in this year’s festival…as well as helping out a local community group.
Shane Kenny will hold the quiz night in the Oyster Tavern on Friday, July 17 with proceedings set to kick off at 8pm.

There will be a raffle held with a number of spot prizes, while organisers are hoping for a special guest appearance on the night as well.
The quiz will also serve as a fundraiser for the ‘Churchill Players Pantomime Group’ who are hoping that the funds will allow them to put on a bigger and better show in Siamsa Tire next spring.
The price per table on the night is €40 with members of the public encouraged to come down for what should be a great night of fun.
