Hysteria is a contemporary love story set in Boston. Fast paced, the novel’s style dramatises the unpredictable course of love.

In it, Clara once believed in the possibility of a better life, new home, new friends, the chance to start again. But she is careless with her heart, letting the actions of others influence her path. She is headed for ruin. And a pre-disposition for disaster could jeopardise her future.

Having overcome a scarring divorce, Maria is a self-ordained pragmatist. That is until a broken and reset man finds his way to her ward, smashing all preconceived notions of what it truly means to be in love.

Michael has lived two lives. The first doused in illegality and intimidation, ended when the ambulance arrived. With Maria’s help, he tries to recover the few fragments worth saving, risking the current iteration in the process. Hysteria is a dramatic retelling of how lives criss-cross.
