Cloudy sunny

Sunny with isolated showers is the theme of the weekend. Sure we’ll take it.

YOU know, it’s not looking half-bad at all.

It’s the last Bank Holiday weekend until late autumn, so we could do with a nice spell of weather to go with the days off. Well it looks like Mother Nature will oblige as there’ll be a lot of dry weather in Kerry over the next few days according to Met Eireann and the other weather websites.

Friday afternoon will be a mixture sunny spells and scattered showers as a light northerly breeze brings clearer, fresher conditions, but temperatures will still get to 18 to 20 degrees.

Tonight will be mainly dry, but with a few isolated showers and lowest temperatures 10 or 11 degrees.

Saturday will be mainly dry with sunny spells and just isolated showers but highest temperatures will be only 16 to 18 degrees in mainly light northwest winds.

Sunday will follow a familiar pattern with sunny spells and just the odd isolated shower, but those temperatures will stay stubbornly low at 16 to 18 degrees.

At the moment, it looks like bands of rain could spoil the party on Monday, but they might not arrive until later in the day. So all in all, it’s looking pretty good.
