Pack Away The Barbecues, We’re In For A Rainy Weekend

TIME to wheel the barbecues back into the shed and pack away those shorts.

Over the last couple of weeks it has felt as though Ireland had been tugged down to the Mediterranean, but this weekend it might feel as though we’re back at home again in the North Atlantic.

Met Eireann are predicting a cloudy start for Saturday with a clatter of rain headed our way by the evening.

They say it’ll be mild on Saturday, with a mix of sunny spells and cloudy periods and just the odd light shower. Highs of 17 to 19°  are expected.

But later in the afternoon and evening, a spell of persistent rain will come in from the Atlantic.

Looks like more of the same could be on the way for Sunday with a chance of a slight drop in temperature. Ah, the Irish summer!
