WE’VE had wind and rain warnings over the past few weeks, now it’s time for the cold.
Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow Low Temperature warning for the entire country for tonight and tomorrow morning.
Temperatures will fall to minus 3 or minus 4 degrees tonight, coldest around dawn and staying below freezing until mid-morning on Sunday. It’s valid from 9pm tonight until 11am on Sunday.
Motorists are advised to take extra care during the cold spell as roads are likely to have icy patches. Sunday is likely to be a sunny day with temperatures around 8 degrees.
