GARDAÍ in Tralee have arrested a man in his 20s and seized cannabis herb and controlled drugs worth approximately €500 on Sunday.
At approximately 11pm, Gardaí on patrol stopped a man cycling in the Moyderwell area of Tralee. He was search and found in possession of cannabis herb and controlled drugs (both pending analysis).
He was arrested and brought to Tralee Garda Station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
He has since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the DPP.
