GARDAÍ have confirmed a man has died in this morning’s road accident on the Tralee-Abbeydorney road.
Gardai in Tralee are investigating the two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred near Abbeydorney Village this morning at approximately 10am.
A male in his 30’s was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a lorry. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
The road has now reopened following an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

This is the second road death in the north Kerry area in the space of six days.
On Saturday night last, Maurice O’Donoghue (24) from Mountcoal in Listowel died after being involved in a single vehicle crash near Kilflynn.
