Gardaí in Tralee are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred in the townland of Tonevane at approximately 8.15p.m last night.
A two car and pedal cycle collision occurred and the male pedal cyclist (39 years) was seriously injured and removed to Kerry University Hospital where he later passed away.
Both drivers (one male (early 40s) and one female (mid 50s) were removed to hospital with minor injuries.
The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place. The road is expected to remain closed for the morning.
