Benners Hotel in Dingle.
THERE was a frightening incident for staff at a hotel in Dingle in the early hours of this morning.
A man entered Benners Hotel in the town at about 5.20am and attempted to rob the premises. Gardaí said he threatened staff with a “sharp weapon” but it is believed he left empty-handed.
Gardaí in Tralee and Dingle are investigating and are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or in the hours before and after the incident to contact them if they have any information.
