THE cyclist who died in yesterday’s road accident has been named locally as 35 year old Edward Duggan from Firies.
Mr Duggan, a keen cyclist and member of Killarney Cycling Club, died in a road traffic collision with a car on the N22 at Scart, Farranfore at approximately 11.15am on Sunday morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Kerry General Hospital. The driver and passenger of the car were not injured.
