Manor West To Host Food And Craft Fair This Saturday

IT’S officially Christmas at Manor West Shopping Centre as the first of their three Christmas Food & Craft Fairs begins on Saturday November 24th from 11am – 5pm.

The fair will host a diverse mix of local artisan food producers and craftspeople offering wonderful handmade products.

Manor West invites families and friends to come along and have fun as they support their local community. Visitors will get the chance to meet Santa and his friends, as well as lots of fun including balloon modelling and facepainting.

Radio Kerry and Francis Jones will broadcast live from 11am – 1.45pm and there will be the chance to win some fantastic spot prizes on the day.

Commenting ahead of the Food & Craft Fair on November 24th, Derek Rusk, Shopping Centre Manager stated; “Excitement is building here at Manor West in the run up to Christmas and we are very much looking forward to our three Food and Craft fairs. We have so many fantastic food and craft producers here in Kerry and we are delighted to have them join us here in Manor West to showcase their fantastic products. We hope that everyone can come along and enjoy our three fairs throughout the festive season, there is always such a cheerful atmosphere on the shopping mall and it’s the perfect way to find some special gifts for loved ones this Christmas.”

Speaking about the Christmas Fair, Fleur Daly from Killarney Candle Makers who will be exhibiting at the fairs stated; “We are delighted to be taking part in the Manor West Christmas Food & Craft fairs throughout the festive season. It is an amazing opportunity for local traders to show local shoppers that their excellent range of products make the perfect Christmas gift. We are very thankful for the support we receive from Derek and the team at Manor West, allowing us to exhibit free of charge. It is always a wonderful day and we look forward to meeting everyone”

The additional Food & Craft Fairs will take place on Saturday December 8th and Sunday December 9th. Children will be able to visit Santa and his friends for free every Saturday and Sunday from 12-6pm, right up to Saturday, December 23rd.

Parking is free of charge at Manor West , with manned car parking areas over the festive period as well as extra parking opened daily behind Debenhams and beside Woodie’s during peak traffic times.
