Announcing Cruinniú na nÓg 2022, Minister Martin said: “Every year Cruinniú na nÓg becomes more firmly embedded into the lives of young people all over Ireland. There’s a huge programme of free creative activities for 10th June that will really stretch the imaginative muscles of all young people. Cruinniú na nÓg 2023 is a wonderful opportunity for the young people of Ireland to show off a little, try a new creative activity, make new friends and connect with their communities.  Every event is free.”

Among the events taking place in Tralee are Art and Poetry with Amanda at Kerry County Museum; an exhibition of Junk Kouture outfits designed and created by Tralee Secondary School students, also at the Museum; a Mini Music Movers Workshop and a Drum Rollers Workshop at Shanakill Family Resource Centre; Give It Socks! – where participants get to make their very own sock puppet and learn the basic principles of puppetry performance at Siamsa Tire; Solstice Siamsa also at Siamsa Tire; Storytime Origami at Tralee Library and Ceol le hAoife at the Na Gaeil Clubhouse.
